Men's Tees/Hoodies/Shirts

Men's tees, tops and shirts are sized based on chest measurements. The measurement is taken around the body by a tape measure placed under the arms.

Sizes are based on these dimensions but tees will vary in fit dependent on brand and style. When ordering a slim fit tee you may wish to step up a size for a looser fit. Likewise for a more traditional fit when ordering an oversize tee you may wish to step down a size. The fit of each tee should be mentioned in its product description.

Youth sizings follow the same conventions

Mens Trousers/Shorts

Men's pants are sized by waist and inseam. Inseam is measured from the base of the crotch to the cuff of the trouser, usually at the ankle bone. Waist and through-leg fits may vary between items and any specific details are listed in the product description

Mens Shoes

Thanks to the various sizing scales, working out what size shoes to order can be a bewildering experience. The chart below is an average conversion between the scales, they vary from brand to brand; look out for specific conversions in the product options.

Women's Dress Sizes

The translation of international women's dress sizes is another source of much confusion, this table should make it marginally clearer:

Women's Tees

Women's tees are based on the measurement around the chest under the arms. Fit will vary between brands and individual styles as specified in product details.

Women's Shorts/Skirts/Pants

Shorts and skirts are sized based on waist.

Womens Shoes

Women's international shoe sizes vary slightly from men's and can be translated using the table below:

Headwear

The sizes given for caps vary between styles. Flexfits come in three sizes; fitted hats such as New Era hats give a diameter measurement which can be translated to a crown measurement with the table below.

Helmets

Helmets are based on the same measurement as caps but use a slightly different scale. The measurement should be taken around the crown above the ears. A snug fit is important for stability and safety.

MX Armour & Jerseys

MX armour usually runs in two sizes of youth and adult. More ergonomically complex pieces use the same sizing scales as MX Jerseys. Sizing is by chest and also includes the sleeve measurement as below.

MX Pants

MX pants are sized by waist but are slightly shorter in the inseam than standard pants to allow for boots being worn. Rise is measured from crotch to waist.
