Vans Shoes

Vans began in 1966 as the Van Doren Rubber Company producing shoes for different sports such as basketball, baseball, and wrestling. According to the company history "Vans Slip-Ons gained international attention and appeal when they were worn by Sean Penn in the 1982 iconic youth film Fast Times at Ridgemont High". Since then Vans has grown to become one of the most successful and iconic brands in extreme sports, with sponsored athletes in MX, BMX, Superbike, Skate, Snow and Surf. Vans shoes and Vans clothing can be seen across the world, with the iconic "Off The Wall" logo making an appearence at every major extreme sports event throughout the globe.
